Akilah is a Jamaican-born, Florida-raised nurse with a passion for helping individuals and empowering them to look and feel their best. She has a deep interest in aesthetics and beauty, which was the inspiration behind founding The Better You MedSpa. Akilah holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida International University, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Miami, and Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. Her vast experience includes six years in the medical field as both working during the pandemic and an urgent care nurse practitioner. Through her work and dedication, Akilah hopes to make a difference by helping people understand that a better you comes from a better care regimen which they can obtain at The Better You Med Spa.
